Functions and responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Management, they will be responsible for directing and managing the purchasing and logistics area, defining, designing, implementing, and monitoring policies related to purchasing management processes, subcontracting, procurement, supplier development, and storage/distribution in the organization. Likewise, they will lead the department’s strategy along with the Operations Management, coordinating with the rest of the organization’s areas to achieve projects in terms of cost, time, and quality.

In more detail, their functions will be:

  • Conduct prospecting, searching, and negotiating with suppliers both nationally and internationally.
  • Establish the most appropriate purchasing/subcontracting strategies for each product type/family.
  • Inform, document, and seek advice on the optimal characteristics of products and/or services to be purchased, looking for products/services that benefit the company.
  • Actively seek solutions in cost, time, and quality in both purchases – raw materials, accessories, and subcontracting – and logistics.
  • Establish the distribution, procurement, and transportation policy for materials involved in production processes.
  • Propose and implement improvements in the area – database management, procurement management, stocks, and warehouse management, etc.
  • Manage the team, coordinating different people and working on their development and motivation.
Requirements:
  • Technical training, preferably Engineering, without ruling out other university degrees such as Business Administration and Management.
  • Additional training in purchasing management, foreign trade, etc. will be positively valued.
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in the management and coordination of purchasing teams/areas in project-based organizations.
  • Experience in using ERP and advanced level Excel. Knowledge of BI tools will be valued.
  • Valuable experience in international logistics, as well as experience in implementing technological solutions associated with purchasing and/or logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and improve efficiency (continuous improvement methodology, lean management knowledge) is required.
  • Extensive knowledge in negotiating subcontracting and purchasing contracts.
  • High level of English – minimum B2 required – Basque language will be valued.
  • The position requires individuals who have developed experience in team management/coordination and motivation, planning and organization, with communication and negotiation skills, anticipation/proactivity capacity, results orientation, and data analysis.

Functions and responsibilities:

The person will be responsible for developing business in the assigned geographical area, carrying out promotion, sales, and distribution activities for the organization’s projects/products.

In more detail, they will be responsible for:

  • Identifying business opportunities and launching new projects that meet the needs of the market and the company, conducting the necessary prospecting and market studies to gather information on potential customers, competition, etc.
  • Conducting prospecting and customer search in their area, generating the sales model in their zone: positioning, products, prices, etc.
  • Advising and contributing to the definition and development of framework product/service proposals and providing approaches for attracting new projects/clients.
  • Preparing commercial offers.
  • Processing the commercialization operations of equipment/products of any type at an international level, following current regulations.
  • Selecting, training, and supervising local distributors, agents, and sales force in general, establishing relevant motivation actions, addressing their doubts, and following up on the project until its collection and closure.
Requirements:
  • Higher technical academic training, technical architecture or similar, not ruling out other degrees if there is proven experience that fits the vacancy.
  • Postgraduate or similar training in sales and marketing will be valued.
