About Us
Who Are We?
We are the equipment, design, and wood cluster of the Basque Country and Navarra. We group together more than 100 leading industrial companies in the sector, whose field of action is equipment for communities, homes, hospitals, hotels, offices, and workspaces.
We hold the Gold Label in Cluster Management certificate, awarded by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), a pan-European initiative of the European Commission, which certifies excellence in cluster management and performance at the European level.
This distinction is the result of a demanding evaluation process that analyzes different criteria, such as cluster strategy, quality of services, impact on the sector, and international cooperation. Obtaining the Gold Label positions Habic among the reference clusters in Europe, endorsing its commitment to competitiveness, innovation, and collaboration between companies in the habitat, furniture, and contract sectors.
We are also part of the Basque Science and Technology Network and are recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism as a Business and Innovation Group (AEI).
Furthermore, we collaborate closely with entities such as the Basque Government, Global Compact, and the New European Bauhaus initiative, promoting strategic projects that strengthen competitiveness and sustainability in our sector.

Promotion of Architecture
At Habic, we promote and manage projects that contribute to the dissemination and promotion of architecture in different areas. Among them, the fifth edition of the International Architecture Biennial of Euskadi Mugak/ and the European Collective Housing Award stand out, two initiatives promoted by the Department of Housing and Urban Agenda of the Basque Government that seek to foster debate, reflection, and the projection of architecture at local, national, and international levels. Through these projects, we reaffirm our commitment to architecture as a driver of social and cultural transformation.
